Texas School Safety

Serving All Districts in the State of Texas

Texas Department of Public Safety certification course available to school employees of districts that have adopted the Texas School Safety Program.  Upon successful completion, attendees will receive their certificate to carry a defensive firearm throughout their employer’s campus.

This is a four hour group training for school employees with a focus on preparation, prevention, and immediate response to an Active Shooter event. The principles of K-12 Standard Response Protocol (SRP) and the appropriate steps to facilitate a rapid, coordinated, effective response to ensure the safety of students and faculty.

Texas Education Code 37.108 requires school districts to conduct safety and security audits of their facilities at least once every three years and to report the results to the Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC). We are a Texas certified School Safety Auditor.
